A cooperative grocery store
I cofounded a not for profit grocery store in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn called the Greene Hill Food Cooperative.
Over the years I was Board Vice President, chair of the Governance Committee, and in charge of hiring the first paid employee. The Co-op has now been open eight years and has over 1000 members. Each member works two and half hours a month to keep the store running.
